We are Ella (from Barbados) and Ryan (from Canada). We are digital nomads attempting to travel the world mindfully. We gave up our apartment in September 2023 and embarked on a unique journey full of learning and exploring.

We have various passions we aspire to fit into our nomadic lifestyle, including mindful travel, financial well-being, and all things creative.

Ryan has a passion for personal finance stemming from a circumstance of taking on considerable student debt. Meticulously planning his financial future introduced him to the world of personal finance, eventually paving the way for plan every penny (pep).

Through his own journey and learning from others, it is clear personal finance topics can be complex and overwhelming. pep attempts to remove these complexities, improve financial literacy, make personal finance approachable, and help you take control of your financial future.

pep's tools, templates, and resources are curated to help you. As we all, collectively, improve our understanding of personal finance fundamentals, we're encouraged to continuously challenge and question our relationship with money. Actively confront your personal finances and make them work in your favour. This starts with the way we talk about money, the way we talk about shared finances with others, and the way we align our intrinsic motivations with our personal finance behaviours. These are the areas Ryan is specifically interested in shedding more light on.
